Blu-ray copy complete but 0 titiles saved (log posted)

Post by The Flying Penguin »

I'm trying to backup an original Blu-ray disc but after the progress bar completes, I get an error message. I have never had any problems before. For some reason this disc keeps failing. I have even tried ripping only the DD track and no subtitiles but it made no difference (log of this attempt below). This is under Ubuntu 10.04 32bit.

Btw, love your product so far and plan to purchase soon!

Hi!

What's the title of your problematic commercial Blu-ray?

A release that old should not be problematic. Have you tried cleaning the disc?

@The Flying Penguin

Hi!

If only to provide cold comfort, I just finished using the Windows version of MakeMKV to successfully process both a full disc and a movie-only version of "Gone in 60 Seconds" - so I guess "mike admin's" statement regarding a "known problem" is specifically applicable to the Linux version of MakeMKV...

No, it's likely that you have a different edition of this disc.

Are you referring to the Region, or do you mean a different "flavor" (one disc versus two-disc, re-release, etc.)?

Either one - all is known that H264 video files are slightly different on these discs.
