I've tried to open any of the four disc of this collection but MakeMKV always report the error "Failed to open disc"

When I try to stream it to VLC (1.1.12 64bit Mac build) i can only hear sound from the title playing without any video signal.
Since I don't know if it's a MakeMKV issues I'll post this on VLC forum too.
