Hey
I just got the onward bluray And we t to click the 3d-dvc file and there wasnt one.
There were however two seemingly identical 2 d movie files?
Is this a new design?
If so what is the work around ( i assume tsmuxer style fix?)
Experimenting right now but thought it could save time to post incase someone else had this before or knows where im going wrong.
Thanks in advanced.
Onward 3d bluray different structure?
Re: Onward 3d bluray different structure?
Nothing should have changed.
Just to make sure, you did put in the 3D disc and not the 2D disc, right?
The disc label should say "3D" in it.
Of the two titles, one should be 800 (English) and one should be 80x (probably German).
Not having the disc myself (it's waiting for me at my US mailbox for the border to re-open), it'll be hard for anyone who doesn't have the disc to determine what's happening without seeing any information about it.
You could expand the 800 playlist and post a screenshot, or you could run the following command in the command prompt to dump the full structure information of the disc into a text file:
c:\progra~1\makemkv\makemkvcon -r info disc:0 >"c:\onward3d.txt"

Also i played it in my player it is the 3d one
Re: Onward 3d bluray different structure?
So yes, the structure is the same as usual, you can see the indented video track on both titles. First it says "Mpeg4 AVC" and then you see the indented track where it says "Mpeg4 MVC" - that's the 3D data for the second eye.
Click on each track where it says Title, and then look in the "Info" pane on the right side, it will display the information for that title:
- One playlist should be 800, that's the one you want if you want the English localization (titles, credits, signs in the movie).
- The other one, probably 801 or 80x, will likely be the German localization if you want that instead.
