Are you also emailing these dump files to svq@makemkv.com, so they'll be processed? Posting them on the forum doesn't get them into the system...

It's interesting that some of these titles now have to be split onto multiple UHD discs. Do you guys plan on ultimately merging the containers into one?

Definitely. Just waiting for MKVTOOLNIX to add support for DV so I can merge the two MKV's.

Hello, have you successfully merged Gandhi together into one MKV file? I’ll receive my 4K disc next week and would like to know if there were any issues.

MakeMKV cannot be used to merge MKV files. You would use MakemKV to create two separate MKV files and then use another tool like MKVTOOLNIX to merge them into a single file. I originally created a merged copy with HDR10+ and have a backup of my original ripped UHD discs for when I'm ready to create a newer merged version with DV.

I heard MKVTOOLNIX recently added support for the newer DV support, but I haven't had a chance to test this out yet.

Thank you for your quick reply. Yes, I have used MKVTOOLNIX before MakeMKV 1.15.2 came out, so I’m familiar with the program. I’m just not sure when you combine all the files, i.e. both video files and both Dolby Atmos tracks how they all flow together. I’ll play around with it next week.
