Hi guys, how do i create an mkv from a video_ts?
Iv tried and tried, i select source, then navigate to my movie folder say for example ''MEET DAVE''
Then mkv open this directory and i have two folders, AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS
so i select VIDEO_TS. The only file it will allow me to select next is the VIDEO_TS.IFO
When i select this it runs a small process (literally like a second!) and then nothing? am i doing something wrong or not understanding something here? I get this text afterwards:
MakeMKV v1.6.2 darwin(x86-release) started
Optical drive "DVD+R-DL OPTIARC DVD RW AD-5680H 3AHB" opened in OS access mode.
Opening files on harddrive at /Volumes/Mac/NEW/MEET DAVE (2008)/VIDEO_TS/
Title #0 declared length is 0:43:09 while its real length is 1:26:40 - assuming fake title
Failed to open disc
This is happening on every VIDEO_TS folder
Please help

Re: Trying to make an MKV file from a Video_TS file
What software did you use to copy files from DVD disc to VIDEO_TS folder? It looks like files in video_ts folder are corrupt.
Re: Trying to make an MKV file from a Video_TS file
hi, thank you for the reply
I used MTR 4.0 (MacTheRipper)
i dont think they are corrupt as a) they play and run fine and b) handbrake converts them to mkv fine, i just dont like using it as its slow
