I am trying to rip this BR disc:
https://www.amazon.com/Carmen-Blu-ray-E ... 0079IJ0R0/
It is brand new. I can play it using VLC all day long. However, every time I try to rip it using makemkv I get:
001002:0020 LIBMKV_TRACE: Exception: Error while reading input
---- Failed /Users/pisymbol/Movies/GEORGES BIZET- CARMEN/GEORGES BIZET- CARMEN_t01.mkv

Debug log attached. Any idea on why this is happening? I've never seen this before. Does not seem to be a medium error.
I had audio set to FLAC but then tried it with Default, same issue. Seems like a bug to me.

Re: Can not rip Bizet's Carmen? Makemkv Bug?
So I got it to work but I don't know why....
Basically if I choose just the DTS 5.1 surround track by itself, I can rip it.
BUT, if I ask MakeMKV to rip both the DTS 5.1 AND the LPCM+FLAC Stereo, it fails. Any idea why? (bad mastering is all I can get from the forums so far).

Re: Can not rip Bizet's Carmen? Makemkv Bug?
Btw, happened again with another MetOpera BD. If I select FLAC and 5.1 can't rip. Just 5.1 can rip. Wondering if this is a mastering bug or a makemkv one?
