[SOLVED] Makemkv suddently does not recognize Blu Rays anymore

I updated makemkv to the latest version, makemkv-1.14.7. Before the upgrade, I could watch Blu Rays. After the upgrade it does not recognize the disk anymore. The drive is still recognized. Downgrading does not solve the problem.

Excerpt of cd-drive. Does it matter that Blu Ray is not mentioned in the reading section?
Or could this potentially be a hardware problem?

By "watch BDs", are you referring to using MakeMKV to allow player software to read BDs "on the fly", without ripping them first?
