Star Wars the Rise of Skywalker 4k uhd with Asus bw-16d1ht

#1 Post by danilkp1234 » Sat May 02, 2020 12:47 pm

Hello i recently bought the Star Wars the Rise of Skywalker 4k uhd disc. But my problem is that my drive (Asus bw-16d1ht firmware: 3.03) won't read it my computer shows that nothing is inserted in the drive. Do i need to flash some kind of custom firmware for it to work?. and would that have any consequences like me not being able to read/write normal blu rays? hope you guys can help with what the best solution is for me to get this to work :D

So i would just need to flash the drive with the MK firmware: ASUS-BW-16D1HT-3.10-WM01601-211901041014.bin
and it would work would it have any consequences?
