Looking Support (New Drive NS51 BH16NS40)

My friend has picked up an new drive for me. Unfortunately I think it is not supported. It says the firmware is 1.04 and the model is BH16NS40. Can anyone advise on what firmware to use with this drive. I have looked in the recent February MK pack and NS51 is not listed.

Also it is very important that I want to retain the ortiginal firmware from the drive. Reading the forum I believe you can do this using the command line using the SDF tool. I am Windows 64 Professional Build 1909.
I would appreciate if maybe someone could give me some command line examples how I could do this?

Can anyone advise how I can get my drive supported.

From reading other posts, I know I can side load to 1.02mk, but ideally I would like the newer firmware supported, is this possible?

But my question is how do I dump the current firmware and make a backup?

Also does MakeMKV plan to support this new 1.04 firmware and add to the MK pack at some stage?

How do I upload this firmware to the developers of Makemkv?

Are there any news about a firmware for libredrive for this drive?
I Have the same and makemkv says, that libredrive is possible.

Yeah, for a long time actually. Just updated the MK pack with 1.04 version.

Yes. For all possible purposes NS50 equals NS51. NS51 is hardware revision, all firmware (including stock 1.04 that NS51 drive come with) reference NS50 platform.
