TS Mediainfo: HDR format Dolby Vision Version 1.0, dvhe 08.06 BL+EL /SMPTE ST 2086 HDR10 compatible
Tried Fast & Furious - Hobbs & Shaw.
Using eac3to334 to extract both hevc video tracks
Using yusesope tool version .003 in "-mode 2" to combine the 2 hevc tracks.
Using dolby mp4muxer to create mp4 (profile 4) without audio.
Mp4 Mediainfo: HDR format Dolby Vision version 1.0 dvhe 04.00, EL+RPU / SMPTE ST 2094 App 4, version 1, HDR10+ Profile B compatible

On firestick 4K
Plex: TV triggers Dolby Vision but black screen
Emby: plays HDR10+ correctly
MXPlayer: Just black screen

Maybe I am doing something wrong?????????????

But I am convincing myself that I need a Shield 2019

Thanks a lot for your help.

Perhaps some data has become corrupted in RAM before it can be written to the disk.
I slightly revised the mechanism that regulates the amount of data temporarily stored in RAM.

This is version_0.0.3_revision_1 (source code only)

Wait for the "press a button to exit" message, all the counters must reach 100% and the total number of NAL AUD (Access Unit Delimiter) processed and present in the BL layer must be equal, in the end, to those of the EL layer.

Happy testing!
Just tried the revised version and got an exception at the end when everything reached 100%:

I just converted Schindlers list, i went via yusesope's guide.

heres what happened
everything went pretty well,but...
when trying to play the movie with truehd 7.1 atmos via shield on plex media player, the movie was into a infinite buffer and then a error.
I tried using the other audio ac3 5.1 (which i didn't even add apparently it was auto added idk how) and then it plays in Dolby Vision
after it started playing i switched to truehd 7.1 atmos and the video/audio went from direct play to direct stream
and the video gave me the HDR sign instead of dolby vision.

ImageImage

I am now going too follow mastaG's guide see if i get diffrent results,i'll keep you posted.
From the screenshot, it looks like you're trying to play the file with atmos through the plex app from the tv, and not the shield. The TV version of the plex does not support direct play atmos, only the shield plex app will. Make sure when you're playing it through the shield to manually select the TRUEHD audio track first. The player will default to the AC3 track on first time playthrough because of the AC3 core in the original track.

Do not use remuxed files.
You have to work with the copy of the bluray disc.
Yeah, I don't have original discs or any copy, just remux.

But I extracted via eac3to gui (same remux file), and your *.bat-file gone to BL_ANALYSIS: 49.7% EL_ANALYSIS: 100.0% BL_EL_RPU WRITING: 55.4%
It was analyzing both at the same time and stopped when EL reached 100%.
BTW, I was using only cut from *.mkv-remux (cut by mkvtoolnix)

@shawnc22

just realized forgot to mention i tried playing it in shield tv pro aswell and their i get the error that something went wrong (i'm not in the shield beta btw)

Update:
I just used MastaG's technique The file played in plex but in HDR10, using normal AC3 aka the underlaying audio get Dolby Vision

File also again went to direct stream instead of direct play.
and the audio was being transcoded i also pressed the info button my soundbar and normally it tells me what type it was playing,it was not telling me it was playing in atmos sadly :/
Image

I have one theory, i'm going to move the file too my nvidia shield and see what the local server says,
(currently using plex on my PC)

edit: using on shield media server + player also makes my plex crash when i try playing the movie with truehd atmos,(maybe because i'm not a beta user?)
so for now dolby vision + ac3 5.1 it seems...

PS: maybe we should get a discord server or something to talk about this. might be handy ?

MX Player on the Fire Stick 4K plays BL+RPU great for me, with both lpcm 7.1 and eac3 dd+ atmos. I used dv profile 8 though, not 4, so I think that's your issue. just tried a sample with profile 4 and I too got just a black screen. Also I haven't tried it on a movie with both dv and hdr10+, so could be that too.

Using dolby mp4muxer to create mp4 (profile 4) without audio.
I told you profile 5 (follow Grencola's suggestion and try also profile 8 and a movie without HDR10+)

Dolby's mp4muxer stopped working for me after update with v1.0.1.

I use ffmpeg to extract BL, EL, Audio(mostly DTS) from my *.mkv-remuxes.
with dolby's mp4muxer create a no sound DV video using profile 7.
then with GPAC's mp4box add audio.

Before in the bin folder, there was mp4muxer_64bits.exe, which I was using. It was working perfectly.
Now there is only mp4muxer.exe.
I checked their git, commits are rather recent.

Am I the only one having problems?

How you make EL+RPU?
Which version of MXplayer do you use?

Yes it works in plex and also in emby.
But all joker samples posted in this thread work.
Full movies made following the instructions BL+RPU etc do not work either in plex or emby as said in my previous posts.
If you have a full movie working, apart Joker, pls tell me and I will try to replicate.

Anyone tried 1917 ?

I'm testing @yusesope newest version of the tool but playback stops at exactly 1min16 on the shield (tried 3 times). BL+EL+RPU+Atmos
Fast forward also stop playback with the same error.

as usual , Dual layer TS + Atmos works like a charm on the x700. that movie looks amazing in DV btw.
