I'm kinda sure this was different in older versions.
Let's say I have a movie with only a Japanese audio track. Prior to the current version if none of the fav languages was existing, MakeMKV still selected the first audio track, no matter the language.
Now MakeMKV just deselects all audio tracks. Sure, I can't understand Japanese, but watching a movie with subtitles in a language I can understand is much better when the movie has any audio.
my default selection rule looks like this:
-sel:all,+sel:(eng|ger|und|nolang|single),-sel:(havemulti|havecore),=100:all,-10:favlang,+sel:attachment
