Sending Failed Drive Loaded with MKVs in for Recovery?

Seagate external hard drive with all of my BD MKV rips failed. Won’t show up anywhere in windows, like at all at all.

Doesn’t click, seems software related. Got Seagate to offer a warranty replacement and give me on lab data recovery for free.

Would anyone in a similar situation feel uncomfortable sending in a drive full of your movie backups? Like, worried about legal snooping?

To ensure clarity, I don’t download stuff, all my files are my own movies/series backed up from physical discs, and I assume many or most Plex users are similar. However, I understand some make a moral argument against even this, or have different interpretations on the legal aspects.

I only rip my own discs. I wouldn't be worried.
