The Lion King UHD 4K doesn't have video
The disc opened just fine with MakeMKV 1.14.7 on my LG WH16NS40 with 1.02 bios. I was able to start the rip, and it completed without errors, but the file video freezes a half second into the Disney intro, and then produces a checkered picture that stays on the screen while the audio plays on. The audio continues just fine, just the video seems not to have ripped properly.

We’re going to need more information other than “it just doesn’t play”. Gotta help us help you a little better.
Are you ripping to an MKV container or using the full folder structure backup?
Are you playing it on a standalone UHD player (e.g OPPO, Pioneer, other)? If so, which one?
Are you playing it on a HTPC? If so, what software player are you using where this is happening (e.g VLC, MPC-BE + MadVR, PowerDVD, etc)?
If on an HTPC, have you tried other players outside of the current one you’re using? If so, same exact behavior?
If on an HTPC, have you confirmed that your video card can play/support 4K/UHD playback/codecs? Have you played in full other UHD BD rips successfully using that exact same setup?
