Do all of your Blurays have Cinavia copy protection on them? Are you playing them through a Bluray-certified device?

MakeMKV does not remove Cinavia. I know of only one software package that does, and it only removes it from disks they've already processed.

The secret is to NOT play back through a BD-certified device. If it isn't BD-certified, it will ignore Cinavia.

The shield should ignore Cinavia. But, apparently some TVs have it.

A test - on one of the files that has the problem, pause at 10 minutes. Restart.

Does it drop out at the 20 minute mark, or 20 minutes later?

If it's Cinavia, it will occur at 20 minutes after you restart. If it's a problem with the file, it will happen at the 20 minute mark.

Correct - Cinavia is actually rare "in the wild", but it does fit the behavior you describe.

Other things that can be problems are bandwidth issues on playback, but that would normally vary with system load; Problems with the playback buffering in the player software; Incompatible audio codecs. Just how are you playing the files?
