Gremlins 4K UHD won't rip - volume key unknown

I've submitted my tgz to the svq@makemkv.com email address... I'm curious if anyone else has had any luck ripping this disk? I get a The volume key is unknown for this disc - video can't be decrypted
Failed to open disc" error.

I ripped it on the 6th of November, but there could be different releases. I have the UK release that came in a steelbook case.

Mine is the US release - purchased from Amazon. Plastic case.

Out of curiosity, what does the disk look like? Brownish color?

The disc itself is completely black, here's a photo of it:



If yours is brown, then I guess it's this one (found on Google): https://highdefdiscnews.com/wp-content/ ... 24x559.jpg ? Either way, if you've sent the dump file to Mike, he'll fix it. Normally, he does it within a day or two, but given the holidays I think it's reasonable to give him a week or so.

I'm having exact same issue now with this disc. I can't believe I'm still getting same error 2 years later. Also using this UK/Irish disc.
