Star Trek Discovery Season 2

Am having difficulty cloning. Have only tried disc one. I did click on the link on line four so maybe someone is working on this already or can tell me if I can remedy this with my equipment.

I would update the firmware if possible, but I'm not quite sure how. If that's not possible (noting line 3) then can someone recommend a drive to buy?

Discovery Season 2 uses AACS v72.

You don't give your make/model of your drive so it's impossible to give you any detailed help but check your drive manufacturer's website to see if they have a firmware update for your drive.

(Mine is a ASUS BW-16D1X-U E111 which is actually a PIONEER RS8601)

My drive is a Hitachi-LG Model CH30N built in Dec 2015.
The company site doesn't list this model. There is a firmware update for this type of model (CH12NS40) but don't know if it will work. Any suggestions?

Do you have "Allow contacting web server for updates" checked, in Preferences->General?

The update for AACS v72 for LibreDrive compatible drives is being distributed via an update to the "SDF.BIN" file, which controls how MakeMKV talks to drives. You can tell if your drive supports it if you see a section like this in the "Info" window, after starting MakeMKV:

If this section is not listed, the drive is not libredrive compatible. In any case, the update must be self initiated by flashing, this is not done by MakeMKV automaticaly.

With libredrive AACS 72 can be processed. Already one for

If it's not listed, then I guess the normal "wait for the next version of MakeMKV to come out" would apply.
