Which B-R Player to use with Process Manager?

Hi, So I've been using Leawo on my PC desktop to play the blu-ray and watch for the .mlps file in Process Manager. But it seems to output about every .mlps file on the disk. So how do I determine which file to use? Do i need to apply additional filers?

I did download PowerDVD but when I scanned the install (.exe) file with VirusTotal it found a Trojan (See attached screen shot) Is there another player I should be using?

Note on VirusTotal: Even Microsoft products pop up with false positives on there. And yes, even MakeMKV and Handbrake and dozens of other popular programs. Some of the tests they use are "overly sensitive", i.e., they will give false positives. I've submitted files that were over a decade old to VT, and got back that they were infected with things that weren't even invented at the time the programs were purchased.

VT is a good starting point, but you should always submit files it triggers on to your trusted (if there is such a thing) antivirus provider for analysis.

Thanks Woodstock, I ran a few others and got a warning for Procmon as well. So now i'm both conflicted and paranoid LOL. Do you have a preferred antivirus provider?

and do you recommend PowerDVD?

Antivirus: I use AVG, primarily out of inertia. Some say it sucks rocks, but it's worked for me.

I can't recommend for or against CURRENT versions of PowerDVD.

I had PowerDVD way back when my primary computer was built (just over a decade ago), but removed it when I caught it changing my drive firmware without permission. This was before I had a Bluray drive in the machine, so it wasn't a question of fixing the drive revocation table. Being a bit of a curmudgeon, I'm not giving it a second chance, but I have nothing against people who think it's the greatest program out there.
