AACS versions for Alita BA & Spider-man FFH?

#1 Post by CarmelApple » Sun Oct 13, 2019 12:08 am

What AACS versions does MakeMKV report for these two standard (non-UHD) blu-rays?

(Trying to stay away from AACS 70 until my drive gets a LibreDrive patch, thanks.)

Best Buy retail Alita Steelbook, AACS v68

Best Buy retail Spider-Man Far From Home Blu-ray DVD combo, AACS v68

At least this is what mine are.

Does 70 do something that previous versions do not? This software supports 70 even without libre.

Thanks, it was due to my not knowing whether inserting a 70 disc was a one-way trip without LibreDrive, and then potentially not being able to process my older discs. Good to know it’s not.
