I've had some issues with my drive giving repeated errors when ripping UHD discs. I've followed advice listed here to clean the discs with isopropyl alcohol and distilled water with the same results.
Today, I opted to decrypt an entire disc (Logan) versus the single title. The backup completed, but still presented the message "Backup done but 28 files failed hash check". I am now in the process of ripping the single title out of the backup. Assuming it completes, will there be any issues with the resulting file? If there are hash check failures, then why did the rip complete?
