Which one is the right mpls movie, there are 3. Mine is the retail from Best Buy. I couldn't get the Process Monitor trick to work at all this time for some reason.

Disney uses multiple playlists to support different languages (for the credits etc.), not for obfuscation. 00800.mpls is usually the English version.

Multiple playlists AND seamless branching. Don't be surprised if the branching is not very seamless. So far none of the ripping tools can correctly handle UHD discs with this, often the ripped MKV will have glitches baked in at the branch points. Titles with DTS audio do not have the same issue. Standard BD discs should be OK.

The English language text overlay version is the second out of three files. The first I think was Spanish? This was on the 4K though. I still hope that helps. You'll have to find out the hard way or such if it's not the 00800.

Blu-Ray disk from the 4k combo pack retail purchase at Target

3 large ~24GB tracks to pick from.

00800.mpls is the correct one. This is the 3rd one in my list of tracks. File name: Toy Story 4_t135.mkv is what generates

Confirmed by ripping all three and reading school sign at 00:11:31. The other two were in Spanish. 00800 shows English. Curiously, other segments of the movie have English on all three tracks for other in-scene text, such as the classroom lesson boards and such. Seems like the translate only the relevant stuff.

Also, regarding subs if anyone cars. I get 4 subtitle tracks after checking all English tracks during the MakeMKR rip:

1 - CC subtitle track
2 - Regular subtitle track
3 - Commentary track (Producer and Director)
4 - Commentary track, appears to be identical to track 3
