Can't convert AVCHD files on a 64bit System

Hello.
My OS is WINDOWS 7 Professional 64bit . Plenty of RAM (8GB) and HD-Space and an AMD Phenom II X4 955 with 3,20 GHZ.
It seems that I am too stupid to make MakeMKV 1.6 work.

Whenever I process a file, Ihave the same result.
0 files saved.

I can't even send a log-file, because the programs hangs while trying.

I have AVCHD files in the following format :
TITLE.mds
TITLE.iso

I am willing to supply whatever info You guys need to help me.

What was your original source material and what procedures did you use to create the .ISO and .MDS files?

I was able to extraxt the m2ts files with ISOBUSTER.
But us?ng MakeMKV on the m2ts files brought the same negative result.

I guess the only logical solution is that the downloaded material is crap.
Because I really hope that I am not to dumb to use MakeMJV.
