I'm new here

Could someone give me some hints how to get my drive become UHD friendly drive?

The drive is
Asus BW-16D1HT (FW1.01)
I have laptop only (no desktop) and I'm connecting the drive using Unitek Y-1031 USB 2.0> SATA adapter

If you try to force an upgrade you will brick the drive.
