Greetings. I just got this disc and my drive keeps trying to load it and then spits it out. Could I have a bad 4k disc? My Make MKV is up to date. Thanks for any thoughts in advance.

What firmware do you have

Do other uhd disks work

What is the build date of your drive

ASUS BW-16D1X-U on a new iMac (https://www.asus.com/us/Optical-Drives- ... /overview/)

I cannot locate what firmware it has - ASUS site has no updates for Mac

Other UHD have ripped just fine. Just did Die Hard 4k

Cannot locate the date.

the ASUS BW-16D1X-U does not support UHD disks so you either have the model confused or you confused the die hard disk

What Billy said - that Asus cannot read UHD disks. I tried... and ended up giving it to someone who has no need for UHD.
