I don't ever encounter it on my ASUS drive with or without MK 3.10 because AnyDVD keeps the disc spinning regardless of what firmware is on it as a "fix" of sorts.

Leave 4K disc in drive longer time without AnyDVD ;).

See, the reality of my dual drive situation is one is dedicated to AnyDVD and one is dedicated to MakeMKV. ;) So, I've no need to disable AnyDVD for that drive since it's already disabled for my NS60. :D

Hi,

I have a pair of BW-16D1HT drives on the modified MK 3.10 firmware (ASUS-BW-16D1HT-3.10-WM01601-211901041014.bin) - all working well I just haven't been on the forum in a couple of months and wondered if there has been any new developments? is this still the firmware of choice? just trying to stay up to speed :)

Still get that awful sound if I leave a disc in for a length of time after a rip but I've got so used to it I just pop it out as soon as it finishes to avoid so easily managed.

Dan

That's the latest and greatest. And yea, apparently the sleep bug is NOT actually fixed in MK 3.10. Ah well, at least it works well.

How long does it take to flash a drive?

The ASUS ODD FW Changer app has been stuck for the last 20 mins on around 90%...

https://drive.google.com/open?id=1aJAq5 ... 12CTYGC50u

Half way through the green LED on the front of the drive flashed a few times.

Has it failed?

Hello everyone. Completely new here. I recently purchased an LG WH16NS60 with firmware 1.02 loaded. It's an official UHD capable drive and regardless of the flasher used (The modified Asus one, and the LG official one) and regardless of what firmware I attempt to load, I always get the same error. "Write DRAM NG". I'm assuming this is because my current firmware is not downgrade enabled. That said, how would I go about flashing an older firmware so I can rip UHD? I appreciate any help.

Oh hell. That's got to be the NS60's version of the new annoying firmware. Mike is going to have to create a new MK version of it. Sit tight for now....it could take a bit. Or if you're impatient, follow this advice:

Flash the MK 3.10 version of the ASUS firmware
THEN flash the DE 1.00 NS60 firmware
Profit?!
