Question About The MakeMKV App
Question About The MakeMKV App
Hi, I'm not sure if this is the place to ask this question or if I should've just posted it in one of the forums, but there's an expiration date set for 76 days from now for the version of the MakeMKV app that I just downloaded. So, I was wondering if I would have to pay for the app at that point or if I could just re-download and reinstall it. Also, if I let the app expire, will that affect my ability to rip movies from DVD or Blu-Ray disc, or is just my ability to access any additional features that I have no need for anyway? Either way, I think you in advance for whatever assistance you can provide on this issue.
Re: Question About The MakeMKV App
Have you read the announcement that explains this?
MakeMKV is free while in beta
If you don't purchase a permanent key, you will be desperately inconvenienced (to read the messages posted here when each beta key expires) by having to look for the next beta key. Beta keys are good for about 60 days; permanent keys are, well, permanent.
