MakeMKV licensing question

Hi,

I think I would like to buy a license for application but I need to know more about the install limits. Can the key be de-activated in the software and then re-used if the OS is reinstalled / new OS drive? Is there a limit or other process to allow this?

Yes, you can re-use the key after OS reinstallation, no problem

No need to de-install. It will work as many times as you need it. That being said, please don't share it.

I built myself a new PC to replace my old 10 year old Dell that will no longer boot. I have not been able to recover all the files. I purchased a license for Make MKV how can I get my Activation Key resent?

Fastest is to find the email that was sent by either avangate.com or 2co.co with the key.

Otherwise, send an email to support@makemkv.com with your information from when you ordered it, and Mike will send you the key.

@nanoman06 I’ve changed computers and reformatted the OS many times and the key always works fine, no need for reactivation. MakeMKV is a proficient app and worth buying the license. It’s versatile that it works on all 3 platforms - Windows, Mac and Linux.
