Arch: Application failed to initialize

MakeMKV 1.14.2 and arch linux. I can not start makemkv and there is no help starting it from console.
I only get a popup saying: Application failed to initialize

Did you install the version in the AUR:

https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/makemkv/

...or build it from your own source?

I have always built from source and it has always worked until now.

Edit: Tried from aur and it worked. Thank you, I didnt even know it was under aur.

I always built from source when I was on SuSE. It always worked but Arch makes it easy.
