Star Trek 2009

Hi all

Having a problem with this title. Here is the error......

001003:0020 DEBUG: Code 117506132 at f'/en*`b3u>-149*tp:121263636

001003:0020 DEBUG: Code 0 at C{1t@ZIWi5XIeC&Z>)w:29396943

As you can see I've tried numerous times with no luck. I read someone else had this same problem with this title and got passed it by putting in another disk then going back to Star Trek but this didn't work for me. I'm using this on a Mac with an Asus drive that has worked fine with other titles.

I see the encryption is AACS v14 and MakeMKV is up to v17 so I'm really stumped as to what the problem is. Any help is appreciated

Thanks

Hi!
The volume key is unknown for this disc - video can't be decrypted
What is the nature of the source material you're using?

Sorry, not sure what you mean exactly but it's a blu ray of star trek 2009 us edition using an Asus external drive on a mac. Please let me know if I've misunderstood the question

Beause of the statement:
The volume key is unknown for this disc - video can't be decrypted
I wanted to establish whether you were using a commercial Blu-ray disc, a copy of a Blu-ray disc, an .ISO image created while running AnyDVD, or something else...

This means you have pressed the "stop" button. Why?

Hi Mike

I pressed the cancel button because the error (the Debug ones) came up. The progam then hangs and I have to force quit.

here is the latest log. I also find it odd that i have to put the disk in first then open makemkv otherwise it will not recognize the disk. Other disks I've tried work fine opening makemkv first.

Your log lists no error messages but the end result is failed. That's very strange. What happens, does it fail immediately once you press "make mkv" button, or later?

thats odd. the log doesn't show the error that shows in the dialogue window of the software. it doesn't fail from the start it starts decrypting and the blue bar gets about a quarter of the way through and the opening blu ray bar get even less than that then the bars pretty much stop and the remaining time shoots up. here is the error in the window........

MakeMKV v1.5.8 darwin(x86-release) started
Debug logging enabled, log will be saved as /Users/fudoshin/MakeMKV_log.txt
Optical drive "DVD+R-DL MATSHITA DVD-R UJ-867 HA13" opened in OS access mode.
Optical drive "BD-ROM ASUS SBC-06D1S-U A201" opened in OS access mode.
Using direct disc access mode
Evaluation version, 16 day(s) out of 30 remaining
DEBUG: Code 1073741829 at f'/en*`b3u>-149*tp:121263636
DEBUG: Code 1073741829 at f'/en*`b3u>-149*tp:213130007
Error 'Posix error - Input/output error' occured while reading '/BDMV/STREAM/00001.m2ts' at offset '1763328'

Error 'Posix error - Input/output error' occured while reading '/BDMV/STREAM/00001.m2ts' at offset '14204928'

the off set keeps changing......after this I hit the red x button to quit and it locks up then I have to force quit the program

as you can see this is in OS mode, if I do it in direct access the same thing happens but the error is a little different. Some SCSI error

Hope this helps

Is this related to the two external FAT-formatted drives you've posted about in the "General" sub-forum here?

Actually I reformatted the FAT to a mac journaled partition.
