Came across a Blu-ray ( The Predator ) that had read errors, so I was lead to believe I could copy all the files to HDD and then go from there.
So I copied all files to HDD and it worked ( there is one file that had trouble ) but it worked where ripping did not.
Next thing I find is you cant open a disc from the Hard Drive without some volume key. I went looking for info and unfortunately the instructions are IMO sparse and I don't understand, theres a link to find keys that may or may not be spread across 27 pages, do I have to read every post in it?
I also tried creating an ISO of the folder contents, then unfortunately I could not open it either once I had it mounted.
Some clarification would be appreciated.

If you do not have the volume key from another source, MakeMKV has to at least be able to read the "beginning" of the disc, where they key information is held.
