virtual drive not found after restart Makemkv

Hi
after i have installed "Makemkv" and have started it
a virtuell drive (installed via alcohol120 Ver.2.0.1) is found sucessfully:
the info field displays:

Drive Information
Manufacturer: Virtuell
Product: BDDVDROM
Revision: 3.2c

No disc inserted


now i close Makemkv and restart it
then Makemkv scanns about 15 sec
and do not found again the virtuell drive

in the bottom log field i read:
MakeMKV v1.5.8 win(x86-release) started
The program can't find any usable optical drives.

when i reinstall makemkv and first start he found the virtuell drive
after next start never again

any idea ?

Try using (freeware) "Virtual Clone Drive" instead...

Are you just restarting MakeMKV - or are you rebooting your computer?

I have Slysoft's Virtual Clone Drive installed and it never fails to be there - sometime I must get round to uninstalling the ******* thing

Why don't you try removing and re-installing the clone drive if you really need it - also what operating system

i use win7 ultimate
the thing is
1. after reinstalling Makemkv and first start, Makemkv finds the virtual disks (both Alc120 + virtual clone drive)
2 after closing Makemkv and second/third ... start of Makemkv, the prog does not find the 2 disks again
