Hello, all.
I need to be reliably notified when a new version of MakeMKV is released, and when there are other announcements such as the discovery of a security vulnerability. Is there an official announcement forum/topic/thread to which I could subscribe? The "News and Announcements" section hasn't had any activity since 2010.
Thanks much,
Chris
How to be notified of new releases?
Re: How to be notified of new releases?
You might think the announcement section is "inactive", but it has announcements for things that happened within the last 60 days... The site owner edits the announcements as things change, so that links to things like the "Latest Beta Key" are always current, even though they're replaced every 60 days.
MakeMKV itself will let you know when a new version is available, when you run it:
"Vulnerabilities" is usually reserved for things that are interactive to an extent greater than MakeMKV, and I do not know of any bugs that would qualify as such. Google can't seem to find any, either.
MakeMKV itself will let you know when a new version is available, when you run it:
Code: Select all
The new version 1.14.2 is available for download at http://www.makemkv.com/download/
