Hello,
I tried finding an existing post on this issue but sadly didn't find one.
I ripped my collection of BluRays and had a similar workflow for each: Rip to MKV, convert video with x265, convert audio to AAC, mux. Now, I'd like to replace the converted audio tracks with untouched DTS-HD, Atmos or similar tracks from the BluRay.
This is no problem per se, rip it again and splice the converted video from the "old" file together with the unchanged audio from the "new" file. Thing is: I would have to rip the whole movie again as I found no option in MakeMKV to only rip the audio tracks. The filters control all tracks _except_ for the video track, which is always active. If I only ripped the audio tracks, it would only require some GB per disc and not 30+.
Is there maybe a simple solution for this that I overlooked?
MKV rip w/o video track
Re: MKV rip w/o video track
No, MakeMKV does not currently have a way to NOT select the video track.
