Easy way to determine which file on disc is which TV episode?

MKV playback, recompression, remuxing, codec packs, players, howtos, etc.

Easy way to determine which file on disc is which TV episode?

Post by theyams »

I've been using MakeMKV for a while now but mainly for movies. Now I'm trying to rip TV series and having a little trouble determining which files on the disc are which episode. For example, I'm now doing Game of Thrones and some discs will have 2 or 3 episodes each. I can rip the episodes easily but I don't know the series episode (Is it Season 1, episode 5 or 6 or 7?) without having to run the video and figure out which one it is. Is there an easier way to do this like from the run file name? I've searched through the forums but haven't found a way. Thanks!

Probably not ideal, but 'Technical Specs' for each episode provides a runtime (they round up).

Thanks, at least that helps! Easier than trying to watch and figure out each episode.
