I have a m2ts file which has 2 audio tracks selectable (DTS 96kHz and PCM)
After using makemkv, the mkv contains an additional DTS track 48kHz.
Is this normal?
Thanks!
Little help with audio tracks
Re: Little help with audio tracks
It can be - depends on how the disk is authored. Is the DTS track a DTS-HD track? Inside of the DTS-HD tracks is a "lossy" DTS track. For compatibility, MakeMKV will separate the lossy track out as its own.
The same happens with "TrueHD"; You will also have an AC3 track available.
