You wrote the firmware for the BU40N slim drive? Quite an accomplishment.

I grabbed all the firmware files from doozah and off the myce boards like 6 months ago. But thank you none the less!

the BU40N with this firmware goes up to 6.0X and stays there, pegged, it's like it want's to go faster but something is throttling it back, it' s wild, even between files it's still chugging along at 6x. These little things are badass.

your still doing it with dosflash? this way viewtopic.php?f=16&t=18873#p70308 is so much easier and safer you dont chance slightly corrupt cal data because it uses lgs official tool

Well probably because I've no idea what you're talking about. And I'm not going to comment on the we are a community bit, I'd love to, but I've no use for drama right now.
I've been offering up the WH16NS60 for quite a fucking while but no one has shown an interest until now. The tools are out there, just gotta go get em.

there is no drama it was sarcasm im just trying to say you can now go from ns60 1.01 to 1.00 and all other downgrades too with no data mover tool or dosflash. so unless you have been doing it a different way all along that does not use dos flash or the unlocked flasher.

There is an lg flasher hard coded to crossflash a wh16ns60 to asus and one that downgrades it from 1.01 to 1.00

Most of the time I prefer the unlocked dos flasher. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it

The crossflasher is found on myce search wh16ns60 but the one that downgrades 1.01 to 1.00 don’t remember where that is.
To be entirely honest I may have had a support call with LG who I shared my screen with and he remoted in and used the tool - and no did not leave a copy.
When you’ve got 300 optical drives registered with LG they’re a little nicer on the support call.
