What software player are you guys using to playback 3D MVC rips?

Hi all,

I just purchased my first 3D movie (Hobbit trilogy). I ripped each (mvc video) into mkv files with makemkv. I want to play them from my HTPC (Windows 10/KabyLake) to my Epson projector that uses 3D shutter glasses.

I usually use Kodi (17.6 Krypton) to launch and play all my DVDs and Blu-Rays but I'm not sure it can handle full 3D.

Any advice on player choice or is anybody successfully using straight Kodi?
