Keep getting license key expired ...

Not sure what is up...I just used this 5 days ago and it was fine. Moreover, when I reinstall the 1.14.2 version and use the current forum key, it then turns around and tells me that the program is too old and the license key is expired...

Not sure...It is currently Wed Jan 30 20:22 here and the key is meant to be good til end of Jan?

I'm guessing it was good till jan 31st, its now jan 31st in whatever timezone it calculates. I see the same issue have to wait till a new beta key is released.

"End of the month" has been a bit flexible in the past, anywhere from the 25th to the actual end of the month have been when the beta key expires.

Until the new beta key is issued, you'll have to temporary set your system DATE back to before the expiration, start MakeMKV, then reset the date to current.

I see the posts about updating the key but I do not see posts on how to do this for LINUX? Where do we update the beta key at?

Should be able to install the new key the same way, using Help->Register in the GUI.

I've tried setting date back - that still does not work. Keep getting evaluation period has expired and it quits
i have the latest version and have tried the latest posted key.

You could throw the developer some coin and get a permanent key.
