i have been able to successfully make several back ups of uhd material on my computer with version 1.14.02 on a acer aspire desktop with an external lg w14ns40 wit firmware 1.02.what i have found is instead of trying to decrypt the files outright i go the back way and I make a non decrypted disc backup which my computer appears to do successfully.after i make the backup i will then close makemkv and remove my uhd disc from the drive and i reopen the makemkv program and click on the files menu and click open files and then I navigate to the non decrypted file and hit index.datt or discutti .if i have done this correctly makemkv will open the file and begin decrypting.I have managed to produce two fully decrypted mkv files I can then play.hope this helps someone.
