Debug Code 03DF

#1 Post by soupcxan » Sat Jan 26, 2019 3:01 am

I have been ripping blurays with my external LG reader for years with MakeMKV but tonight I just started getting this "Debug Code 03DF" error on any disk I tried. I got the attached error files, what do they mean? Is there a fix for this? Very frustrating that I paid for MakeMKV and now it is not working.

Makemkv was working fine until this morning. Every UHD disc I tried to open failed. I had previously backed up John Wick 4K without a problem. Tried it again this morning. Got the following:

MakeMKV v1.14.2 win(x64-release) started
Using direct disc access mode
DEBUG: Code 03DF/02/E3767A939283
Saved AACS dump file as C:\Users\Bob/.MakeMKV/MKB20_v61_John_Wick_EDAF.tgz
The volume key is unknown for this disc - video can't be decrypted
Failed to open disc

Same for any other disc I try.
