spacebar to select/deselect items

Hello,
Really like the product. Could you please fix so that the spacebar can select/deselect tracks and subitems?

The spacebar is supposed to be able to select/deselect items, but the cursor needs to be in the left hand window to do it.

I know it works on the current Windows version, because I use it regularly. Is it not working on the Mac version?
