Problem is my external Blu-ray drive is not recognised by MakeMKV, it is not included in the 'Source' drop-down list (which only contains my laptops internal DVD drive).
I am running MakeMKV 1.14.2 under Windows 10 Pro 64bit. I can browse a Blu-ray disk as drive F: under Windows Explorer.
I've tried running MakeMKV as administrator, and also have tried installing an older version of MakeMKV (randomly chose 1.10.10), neither of these made any difference.
I've also tried doing File > Open files, and selecting the index.bdmv file on the disk. On doing this I get the following prompt:
When I hit OK, it starts the 'opening Blu-ray disc' process. When this is finished (after about 2 mins) I get the following message:The folder F: appears to be a root folder on optical drive, however drive can't be accessed by program. The operation will most likely fail.
Under the info panel, it lists the drive info, but says 'No disc inserted'.Opening files on harddrive at F:
Saved AACS dump file as C:\Users\Marcus/.MakeMKV/MKB_v28_Breaking_Bad-_Season_3-_Disc_1_7CF4.tgz
The volume key is unknown for this disc - video can't be decrypted
Failed to open disc
Can anyone help me with this? Thanks!
