Hey all

Looking for some direction here.. I've used mkv for a year for blu Ray's for my personal collection... I just built a new computer with i7 8700 with 32 gb ram, with a 1080 graphics card... I went out and made sure my Burner was friendly to 4k...

Here's my issue when I put the 4k disk.. mkv sees it and rips but the quality isnt great... am I missing something here... I can watch the movie.. but it's not great...

I am using the most current verison of mkv and I'm on windows 10

Looking forward to any insight and help much appreciated

"Quality isn't great" says you're trying to watch a High Dynamic Range (HDR) video with software that is only Standard Dynamic Range (SDR), and the colors are washed out - is that what you're experiencing?

Thank you for responding... yes that was the issue...I realized I didn't have the keys.. once I created the folder it worked alot better... but I've noticed a new issue.. it looks and sounds good, but the picture seems to be slipping or skipping ever so slightly I can notice it...
