I am trying to backup a Blu Ray (Bladerunner 2049) to an ISO. It seems (so far) I have no problem viewing or backing up other Blu Rays in my collection. This Blu Ray does rip and the video files are there but as an ISO I can't play as a virtual disc (ISO). I also used MakeMKV to remove the 'decryption' this does not help either. I try to view it in DVDfab 5. I see the video files and they will play, but the disk (ISO) won't initialize. This is a new release so I was wondering if there are new decryption in use. Any suggestions?
Thanks
Unable to play ISO file
Re: Unable to play ISO file
What are you using to create the ISO?
MakeMKV will make a backup, but that is a directory structure with the files from the disk. It can optionally be decrypted. But it is not an "ISO file".
But an ISO file created by most programs will not contain certain information that MakeMKV needs to do decryption, without some help.
