Well, you are a delight to talk to.st4evr wrote: Tue Dec 11, 2018 4:18 pm No. That is the HDR10 metadata. It’s clearly telling you what type of metadata it's using by labeling it “Commercial name : HDR10”. It can’t get any clearer than that.
Attempting to “play” that stream will get you nowhere. It’s not an actual standalone video stream.
No info? Google is your friend:

This is the first time I've seen a "remux" MKV have its HDR10 metadata in a 1.6gb separate video stream. It's usually just that first track in MKVs and HDR10 still worked. Why would static meta data for HDR10 be 1.6gb in size? I think you should check some of those links you posted
And MediaInfo telling me that stream is "HDR10" could've been an out-of-date sort of thing if adding DV to MKV was something new and MediaInfo was not yet able to detect it properly - hence my first post.
And by "no info on Google" I meant if there have been any advancement recently in adding DV to MKV, which is exactly like I phrased it in the first place. Typing in "Dolby Vision" into Google will obviously not lead me to an answer to this question.
Okay, thank you!
