Zatoichi: Darkness Is His Ally

Hey all,

I’m having trouble ripping the newly-released “Zatoichi: Darkness Is His Ally” blu-ray. (Please note that this is the 26th Zatoichi film just released by Tokyo Shock, and was NOT part of the massive Criterion Zatoichi set due to rights issues.) It successfully decrypts, but fails every time and doesn’t give me an error message. It just fails. The disc looks clean, and I’ve tried cleaning it, but no luck.

Anyone else having this issue?

Kind of hard to figure out what is going on - you say it decrypts, and yet it fails.

Do you have debug logging turned on? (FAQ link in my signature explains it if you don't already have it turned on)

Are you doing "backup", or "Open/save as MKV"?

Open/save as MKV.

I’ll turn on debug logging and try sending a dump later tonight. I’ll also give the backup a whirl, if that fails.

Same issue here with same title. Have tried 2 copies, same issue both times. It decrypts, but errors out shortly after starting.

I've no idea how/what, but this appears to be fixed in in 1.14.2 for this title.
