Registration key and old version

I would like to purchase MakeMKV to save my collection of HD-DVD disks (between 80 and 100).

As I know, I will need an old version of makeMKV (1.10.0) I already found in the download area.

Is the regristration key I will get when purchasing the product will work with old version of MakeMKV ? (I did not find the answer in the forum).

Registration keys work with all versions of MakeMKV. Even old ones. I've had my same key since v1.6.x ...

And why do you need such an old version for HD-DVD? The current version does HD-DVD, and there was even an update to HD-DVD compatibility AFTER the version you mention.

OK, thank you for the information. I will first test the last version to save my HD-DVD.

I tried with last version and it works, like you said.

I just have to fix the subtitle problem which are in a different format than BluRay. I think I will download them and merge them with the movie using opensubtitles.org.
