crashes on 1.14.1

I updatet to 1.14.1 and now everytime i click on the open File button or on the menu, the programm crashes after few seconds.
After the program has crashed, the explorer window opens where i can choose the file to open, but when i choose the file nothing happens.

I'm getting the same this afternoon. I'm also on Win10 x64

It's been OK for a few days but this afternoon, every time I click on File > Open Files, I get a message "Fatal error occurred, the program will now close"

I click "OK" on that message and MakeMKV closes and the file selection screen opens and is pointing at, "C:\Program Files (x86)\MakeMKV" which is not my default path and in the File Name field, is the text, "wAAAAAAAAAA".

That ""wAAAAAAAAAA" text is reproducible. It's put the same text in the field the last three times that it crashed.

Check your Windows version - Microsoft unleashed their "October Update" (the one that was deleting files 6 weeks ago and was pulled to be reworked) a day or so ago. There MIGHT be a bad reaction between the releases of the new Win10 and 1.14.x...
