1) I had no trouble at all with the U.S. version of that BluRay

2) That error is usually indicative of a dirty or physically damged/scratched disc. try cleaning the disc and re-ripping it...

Don't believe that's the root cause as that was the SECOND copy of the disc I tried....same error with both. Tried another title I had..perfect ripping as usual (I'd initially panicked thinking my liteon was going south..but NOT the case) Is it possible there might be an incompatibility between the hardware and that disc...seems far-fetched, but who knows
