I got Batman Begins 4K from Amazon but when I try to rip it it fails and says the volume key is unknown, even though there are 7 keys available in the key file from around 09/29 with no change in the 10/06 file. I even upgraded to the latest stable makemkv version. Any ideas?

And submit the dump as instructed. Just because there are already 7 keys available does NOT mean all keys/discs as released by the studio are supported. Studios/BD authoring companies create the keys, not MakeMKV. They can create as many keys/disc variations as they please throughout the life of the format. So, they have to be added to the list as they are found.

I actually tried with 1.12.2 a few times first before updating to 1.12.3. Since I have ripped several of my 4K discs, I'm certain the key file is in the correct location. I read the topic you included and get a dump file once I get home. I understand that Studios are d!cks and keep trying to find new and annoying ways to prevent us from exorcising our legal right to make a digital copy of legally purchased materials. I just figured that with 7 keys already, it might be covered. Anyway, thanks for the input. I'll let you know.
