Greatest Showman playback issue

I'm getting issues when ripping The Greatest Showman blu-ray. MakeMKV isn't giving me any errors, but when I play it back through Plex it gives me a scrambled screen every minutes or so. It shows mostly green and only lasts for half a secord or quarter of a second, but it persists throughout almost the whole movie (or at least any place I've spot checked, because I definitely can't watch the movie this way). The disc itself plays fine when put directly into a blu-ray player.

Since the scrambled spots appear in the same spot on every viewing I was able to capture a screenshot of what it looks like.

I tried re-ripping it, then I noticed there was an updated version of MakeMKV, so I updated and ripped again. The error is still there.

I don't see any errors in the on-screen logs when ripping, because the rip is successful.

Does anybody have any idea what might be happening?

I just lent the Greatest Showman at my local library, and I couldn't play the disc in both my TV Sony Blu-ray, nor on my no-name player connected to my Mac. It would start skipping like crazy, halfway through the movie, despite the disc being completely new. Went out and bought it instead, and had no issues with the new disc. So could be they had some bad print runs I guess. This is the Nordic edition in both cases.

My disc works fine in the Blu-ray player, it’s just the rip that is messed up.
